I get the blue screen sometimes at startup, not all the time with the message above. I have a refurbished Dell Dimension L800r. I think it is a pent.3.

Hi Guys,
I was having the same problem and seem to have fixed it.

Look under System Tools - System Configuration. Go to the StartUp tab and check out the ticked items. I assumed that it was one of these applications in the startup that was conflicting. So, I unticked them and then I ticked the most important applications ie.. system registry, etc.... and rebooted. The error disappeared. Then I went back to the StartUp area and noticed that the more important applications had moved to the top of the order. So, I ticked the rest of the applications and rebooted the PC about 6 times and it seemed to get rid of the error.

So, I'm assuming that the order in which those startup applications were being loaded at startup was causing that conflict.

See how you go with that...
Later....

I am getting it now myself. I had no problems what so ever until our power flickered this evening...same exact error message, but where you have 105, I think it's actually IOS. I believe it has something to do with Iomega Zip Drive, but I can't seem to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Windows 98.
