I had a problem with quicktime crashing Civ2

Try:
OPERATING SYSTEM AFFECTED: Windows® Me

RESOLUTION:

From the Start menu, point to Search, and then click For Files and Folders.

In the Search Results dialog box in the Search for files or folders named box, type: Qtw.ini.

Verify that the Look In box has Local Hard Drives C: selected. If not, select this drive from the drop-down list, and then click Search Now.

When the search is complete, double-click Qtw.ini.

In the QTW-Notepad dialog box, under Video, look for the line that reads Optimized=Hardware.

Change the Optimized=Hardware to Optimized=BMP.

In the Search Results dialog box from the File menu, click Save.

In the Search Results dialog box from the File menu, click Exit.

In the Search Results dialog box, right-click the QTW file, and then click Properties.

In the QTW Properties dialog box, select the Read-only check box, and then click OK.

Close all open programs and the program runs correctly.

Cheers,
Brian

Did nothing. Central Command thinks it's "VBC.Hard.A"

Wipe Hidserv.exe from Windows. Wait to do so, I just did it, restarted and no known side affects. I went to command central.com to find the answer. MAYBE!! I'll let you know tomorrow.
