VxD VMM(01) exception when launching netscape navi |

I have a problem everytime I launch netscape navigator. I get "fatal exception at 0028:c0005338 vxd vmm(01)+00004338"
I was not doing anything before it happened, cause it happens as soon as I click it (shortcut and program
folder).
The temps. of my cpu and mainboard are at their set levels(nothing wrong there).The voltages are fine too. I've scanned disk, defragged.,checked registry, system file checker, directx diagnostic tool, and tried Dr. Watson, nothing can tell me whats wrong.
I would appreciate some input.
