: It seems like Intel Landesk Management software is conflicting with an older version of OLEAUT32.DLL.
: First thing you need to check is the version of OLEAUT32 in DOS.
: GO to C:\windows\system and check the version of DOS. If the version date is 01-05-00 and has 614,672 bytes, then it is the old version. You need to get the new version dated 02-14-01 and has 598,288 bytes.
: To download the new OLEAUT32.DLL version for WIN98SE go to this site: http://www.drd.dyndns.org/dll/win98se/_index.html
: -Download this to your windows desktop.
: -Change the name to OLEAUT32.new.
: -copy this file to c:\windows\system.
: -Restart the system in DOS mode.
: -Go to C:\windows\system.
: -Rename OLEAUT32.DLL to OLEAUT32.old.
: -Rename OLEAUT32.new to OLEAUT32.DLL.
: -Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys to restart the system.
: -Most likely the error will not show up anymore.
: Good Luck

: : After installing win98SE on my system, I started getting the following error message whenever I start the system;"LDISCN32 caused an invalid page fault in module OLEAUT32.DLL at 0167:6534F08F.
: : I never had this error with win95. What could be the problem.
