I installed an optical mouse about a year ago. About a month ago, it started doin all kinds of crazy stuff, jumping around screen, hanging, multiple pointers frozen on screen, etc. Contacted manufacterers website, they recommended complete uninstall. I did. Apparently i also uninstalled the original mouse driver as well. I have managed to get the mouse working using a ps2/intellimouse driver with my hewlett packard oem mouse. My comp is a 6370z HP Pavilion 350mhz 96mb. Although i have gotten the mouse working, the error message comes up everytime i boot up and i have to hit any key to continue boot up. Any help to get rid of boot up error message would be welcomed.
